Who Is Jenn Of All Trades? 

 
The Family Garden:
Jennifer Bottoms has been a Registered Nurse for over 4 years and currently works in Neonatal Intensive Care Units in NYC and Long Island. During that time she has cared for very ill and premature infants, and for babies who have overcome various illnesses and are ready to go home with their families.
 
Jennifer is knowledgeable in infant care and development, and she regularly prepares new moms and dads for their parental roles upon bringing their infants home from the hospital. 
 
Jennifer decided to begin providing her services because she noticed that there were very few resources that provide parents with hands-on instruction in baby care. As a new mother there were many things that she was unsure about, and there were times when she had questions that couldn't be answered by a book, or basic information that was not provided by her pediatrician.
 
Jennifer also realized that our communities are lacking in services to help parents sustain their relationships with each other as well as nurture the bonds within their families. Her mission is to fill that void and help parents feel more confident caring for their babies and assist parents in the transition into parenthood and family life.
 
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing. She is also a Certified Infant Massage Teacher and a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician.
 
 
Jenn's Betcha Bottom Bakes:
 
Jennifer Bottoms has had a lifetime love affair with desserts. She grew up baking alongside her mother making chocolate chip cookies and apple pies, and would help her mother make Christmas cookies for loved ones. As time went on, Jennifer would make her own batches of Christmas cookies to add to the collection, as well as other desserts. She thought of attending culinary school after high school graduation, but pursued other degrees instead.
 
A few years after completing her first Bachelors Degree, Jennifer decided to fulfill her dream. She was accepted to The French Culinary Institute in Manhattan and completed the Culinary Arts program in 2001. Jennifer's intention has always been to make mouth-watering desserts for people to enjoy. Jenn's Betcha Bottom Bakes is her way of bringing her great desserts to the masses - "You Betcha Bottom They're The Best!"
